Norcon flameproof enclosures use the direct cable entry method and generally have a volume greater than 2 litres.
The enclosures will be provided with metric cable entries to suit specific requirements. Certified adaptors and stopping plugs will be supplied as required.
Cable glands can be supplied to customer order.
Enclosure Surface Finish
Enclosures can be supplied in paint finishes to customers specific requirements. However, we recommended the use of our standard 'two pack epoxy' paint system, which was originally developed for North Sea applications, and can be supplied with either Blue or Grey final finish.
Documentation
A copy of the relevant hazardous area certificate and a Norcon Certificate of Conformity will be supplied as the standard documentation package.
